Payment policy

A deposit of 50% of the total amount is due at the time of booking. The balance will be debited in full from the credit card used to make the reservation 30 days prior to arrival. If this second payment is not made on time, the reservation is automatically cancelled.

PRE-OPENING 30% DISCOUNT

From August 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024 exclusively, Aura Anse-Marcel’s payment policies vary from the establishment’s usual conditions. Reservations may be cancelled and refunded in full up to 24 hours before arrival.

Additional charges

All charges over and above the amount of rent paid in advance will be invoiced at the end of the stay. These charges may include, but are not limited to: extra nights, extra cleaning service, supplies, rental items, boat transfer, car rental, etc.

A detailed invoice will be issued and sent by e-mail, and the charges will be debited from the credit card used to pay for the reservation.

Cancellations/Transfers/Substitutions

In the event of cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total amount paid for the deposit will be retained and the balance will not be charged. In the event of cancellation within 30 days, 100% of the gross rental amount is forfeited.

Given the nature of the strict cancellation policy on rental contracts, Aura Anse-Marcel strongly recommends that you take out travel insurance to protect you against unforeseen cancellations.

No-shows, late arrivals and early departures are non-refundable.

Reservation restrictions

The main guest must be over 18 years of age and present at check-in and check-out. Each guest must be registered prior to arrival. Correct and valid identification must be presented at check-in. The guest acknowledges that he/she and the registered guests will personally occupy the property for the duration of the rental. The total number of persons permitted to occupy the property at any one time is limited to the maximum occupancy stated in the confirmation. The tenant is not permitted to invite or accommodate any other unauthorized persons at any time during the stay. Parties, informal dinners or gatherings exceeding the number of registered guests are not permitted without prior agreement. If a guest makes a false declaration, he/she will be required to pay immediately for the excess guests and/or will be required to leave the property without refund. The guest agrees that the premises will not be used for illegal or illicit purposes.

Travel visas and passports

It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their visa and travel documents are valid for travel to their destination. Please check that your passport is valid and will not expire before or during your stay. Please check with the embassy for travel visas required to enter the destination. MBR Management N.V. is not responsible for advising customers on necessary travel visas. No refunds will be made in the event of the customer being refused entry to a destination.

Maintenance & damage

All normal charges are included in the rental price, unless otherwise stated. Each unit is fully cleaned on a weekly basis. If you require daily or more frequent cleaning, please inform us at the time of booking and we will be happy to accommodate you for an additional charge. The guest acknowledges that unless the administration of Aura Anse-Marcel are informed on the day of arrival of any damage or cleaning problems, all damage or problems occurring in the property during occupancy will be the responsibility of the guest. Guests are required to immediately inform the administration of Aura Anse-Marcel of any damage caused to the unit and/or its contents during their stay. The guest hereby agrees to pay cleaning or replacement costs for any damage to personal property or real estate, which may result from the guest’s occupancy, with the exception of normal wear and tear.

The administration of Aura Anse-Marcel makes every effort to maintain the property in good working order. In the event of maintenance problems, we will endeavour to repair the problem as soon as possible after being informed. If maintenance problems arise during your stay, we must be informed in order to try to resolve the problem.

LIABILITY

Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owners, the administration of Aura Anse-Marcel, from and against any and all liability, damages, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in connection with any claim in connection with the use and/or occupancy of the rental property, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, loss of personal effects or theft of property which is made, incurred or suffered by you and/or any person you invite to use the property as a guest. Guests are responsible for their rented property during occupancy and must lock the unit’s windows and doors at all times. Aura Anse-Marcel administration is not responsible for damage or misuse of the property by the guest. The tenant/guest assumes all responsibility and liability for the premises during his/her stay. The use of swimming pools presents risks ranging from infection to drowning. Particular care must be taken with children. The guest may use these facilities and agrees to do so with caution and at his/her own risk.

PETS

Pets of any kind are not allowed on the property without prior agreement and registration. The presence of a pet or proof of the presence of a pet on the premises will incur additional charges and may result in the immediate eviction of the tenant, as well as the forfeiture of the entire rent and deposit.
